Zen is a form of Buddhism that emphasizes the awakening of the human being. It is used as a method of trying to find the true meaning of life. Zen teaches its followers to shed the layers of their own expectations, thoughts and even beliefs in order to know the truth.

Zen Story #1 - Punishment for theft
When Zen master Bankei organized a camp to teach meditation, many children from all over Japan came to learn from him. One day during the camp, a student was caught stealing. This was told to Bankei, the rest of the students requested that this student be expelled from the camp as punishment for the theft.
But Bankei did not pay attention to this and allowed him to study with other children.
After a few days, the same thing happened again, the same student was caught stealing again. Once again he was taken before Bankei, but against everyone's expectation, this time also he did not sentence the student.
Because of this other children got angry and all of them together wrote a letter to Bankei saying that if that student is not removed then we all will leave the camp.
Bankei read the letter and immediately asked all the students to assemble. , You are all intelligent." Bankei started speaking, “You know what is right and what is wrong. If you want to go study somewhere else, you can go, but this poor man does not even know what is right and what is wrong. If I do not teach it then who else will? Even if you all leave, I will teach it here."
Hearing this, the student who had stolen started crying bitterly. Now the desire to steal from him was gone forever.
Zen Story #2 - A cup of tea
Nan-in was a Japanese Zen master. Once a professor came to ask him something about Jane, but instead of asking, he himself became engrossed in telling about it.
The master ordered tea for the professor, and started pouring tea from the kettle into the cup, the professor was still talking when he saw that even after the cup was full, the master was pouring tea into it, and the tea fell on the ground. Is going
“This cup is full, now it cannot hold more tea.”, said the professor, stopping the master.
“Like this cup, you too are full of your thoughts and ideas. How can I show you Zen until you empty your cup?" , replied the master.
Zen Story in Hindi #3 - Two mendicants
In the evening, two Buddhist monks were returning to the ashram. It had just rained and there was water on the road. While walking, he saw that a beautiful young woman was trying to cross the road but was unable to do so because of the high water. The elder of the two Buddhist monks went to the girl and picked her up and took her to the other side of the road. After this he went to the ashram with his companion.
In the evening the younger Buddhist monk approached the elder one and said, "Brother, as monks, we cannot touch a woman?"
"Yes", replied the elder.
Then the younger one asked again, "But you took that young girl in your arms?"
Hearing this, the big Buddhist monk smiled and said, “I had left him on the other side of the road, but you are still carrying him.
