ਨੂਰਾ ਮਾਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਜਰੂਰ ਪੜੋ ਜੀ।

 ਨੂਰਾ ਮਾਹੀ - ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਕਿਲਾਹ੍ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਮਾਛੀਵਾੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਏਕੋਟ ਜ਼ਿਲਾਹ੍ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਛੱਪੜੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਟਾਹਲੀ ਦੇ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਹੇਠ 19 ਪੋਹ 1705) ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮਿਰ੍ਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਸਣ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਗ ਲਾਏ ਸਨ। ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀ ਦਿਨ ਚੜਿਹ੍ਆ ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲੇ ਦਾ ਚਰਵਾਹਾ ਨੂਰਾ ਮਾਹੀ ਮੱਝਾਂ ਚਾਰਨ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਨੂਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਧ ਛਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਇਸ 'ਤੇ ਨੂਰੇ ਨੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮੱਝਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਚੋ ਕੇ ਆਇਆਂ, ਹੁਣ ਮੱਝਾਂ ਥੱਲੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਕਰੋ, ਮੈਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਘਰੋਂ ਲੈ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਨੂਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਔਸਰ ਝੋਟੀ ਵੱਲ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਝੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਪੜਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਚੋਅ ਲੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਨੂਰਾ ਮਾਹੀ ਝੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਪੜਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਝੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਧ ਉਤਰ ਆਇਆ। ਨੂਰੇ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਬਰਤਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ 288 ਛੇਕਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਰਤਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਗਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਨੂਰੇ ਮਾਹੀ ਦੀ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਦ ਨਾ ਰਹੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਔਸਰ ਝੋਟੀ ਨੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ 288 ਛੇਕਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਰਤਨ (ਗੰਗਾ ਸਾਗਰ) ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਡੁੱਲਿਹ੍ਆ।

ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨੂਰੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਦੱਸੀ। ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਮੀਰ ਜਾਗੀਰਦਾਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਰਾਏਕੋਟ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ। ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲਾ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਵਕਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਆ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਬਖਸ਼ੋ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਗੁਜਰੀ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਲੈਣੀ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਘੋੜ ਸਵਾਰ ਭੇਜੋ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਮੰਗਵਾਓ।

      ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲਾ ਨੇ ਇਕਦਮ ਨੂਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਨੂਰੇ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਨੂਰਾਂ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਸਰਹੰਦ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਨੂਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਾਲਮਾਨਾ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੀ।

        ਛੋਟੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦੇ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਨਵਾਬ ਵਜੀਦ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਵਿਚ ਚਿਣਵਾ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

       ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਦਾ ਹਾਅ ਦਾ ਨਾਅਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਿਆ। ਤਦ ਨੂਰੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਅ ਦਾ ਨਾਅਰਾ ਨਵਾਬ ਮਾਲੇਰਕੋਟਲਾ ਨੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਨਾਹ੍ ਮਾਸੂਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਸੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਨਵਾਬ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੀ। ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਠੰਡੇ ਬੁਰਜ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਪਾ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

      ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਤਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਦੀ ਨੋਕ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਦੀ ਜੜਹ੍ ਪੁੱਟੀ ਤੇ ਵਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਮੁਗਲ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਜੜਹ੍ ਅੱਜ ਪੁੱਟੀ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਚੁੱਪ ਰਹੀ ਪਰ ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲਾ ਨੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਾਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਰਹਿਮ ਕਰੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮੁਗਲ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵਾਬ ਮਾਲੇਰਕੋਟਲੇ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਰਾਏ ਕੱਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਗੰਗਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਹਲ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਤਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਸਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਉਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਅੱਜਕਲ ਉਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਟਾਹਲੀਆਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਰਾਏਕੋਟ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਦੋ ਛੋਟੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ, ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੜਹ੍ ਪੁੱਟੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਬੂਟਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹਨ।

As the day dawned, Rai Kale's shepherd Noora Mahi came to graze the buffaloes and Guru Sahib asked Noora to give him milk. On this Noore requested that Guru Sahib buffaloes I have come this morning, now there is no milk under the buffaloes. If you order, I will bring milk from home but Guru Sahib pointed to Noora and told her to slap her and take a sip. Obeying the order of Guru Sahib, Noora Mahi slapped Jhoti and sat down for milk selection and Jhoti got milk. Noore requested Guru Sahib that I do not have any utensils for milk selection. Guru Sahib gave him his vessel with 288 holes which is called Ganga Sagar. Noore Mahi was not surprised when Ausar Jhoti gave milk and did not pour milk out of the vessel with 288 holes (Ganga Sagar).

 Noore told the whole story to his boss Rai Kala. Rai Kala belonged to a very rich feudal family of Raikot. After hearing the whole story, Rai Kala immediately came to Guru Sahib's feet and begged him to do some service. Guru Sahib said to get the news of Mata Gujri Ji and the younger Sahibzada from Sirhind, send a horse rider and get the news soon.

 Rai Kala immediately sent Noore to Sirhind, as Noore's sister Nooran was married to Sirhind. Arriving at Sirhind, he heard from his sister Noors the whole cruel and sad story about the children and mother of the young Guru Sahib and returned and told the Guru.

 The younger Sahibzada, not accepting Islam, was martyred by the local Nawab Wajid Khan by marking the children alive.

 Guru Sahib asked no one shouted the slogan of sympathy. Noore then said that Nawab Malerkotla had raised the slogan of 'Haa' in sympathy of the children saying that there was no fault of these innocents and why such severe punishment was being meted out which was not accepted by Nawab Sirhind. Mother was martyred in the cold tower.

 The Guru, hearing all this talk of martyrdom, uprooted the Kahi plant with the tip of an arrow and promised that the Mughal Empire was uprooted from India today. At that time all the sangat was silent but Rai Kala requested Guru Sahib to have mercy on us, we are also Mughals then Guru Sahib said you have served, your kingdom will last and also Nawab Malerkotla will remain. Guru Sahib blessed Rai Kalle with the sword Ganga Sagar and Kehal and promised that as long as you serve these weapons, his rule will last. Today there is a huge Gurdwara at the site called Gurdwara Tahaliana Sahib, near Raikot Ludhiana. Within this large shrine are two smaller shrines, Gurdwara Jarah Putti Sahib and Buta Sahib.
